Books to Movies News

Did you know that The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, was first published in 1973. It was written by John Godey. The film, starring John Travolta and Denzel Washington, is a remake of the 1974 film starring Walter Matthau and Robert Shaw. Due out June 12th.

Keanu Reeves is set to star in a new version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Strange Tale of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I can see him as a madman, but I don't mean this in a good way.

Would you rather see Jack Black or Woody Harrelson star in a film version of Ken Kesey's The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test?

A film reportedly starring Angelina Jolie is in the works based on Patricia Cornwell's character, Kary Scarpetta.

Peter Jackson is directing the movie based on Alice Sebold’s The Lovely Bones. It’s due out in December. USA Today has an interview.

Julia Roberts will star in Eat, Pray, Love, which begins shooting in July. Brad Pitt is producing.
