Movie Recommendation - Taken

Looking for a thrilling action movie for Father's Day? This would be my pick! Liam Neeson plays an ex-CIA agent who is trying to reconnect with his estranged family. While his daughter is on a European vacation, she is kidnapped - so it's Daddy to the rescue and he is back in the killing business. One to watch after the kids go to bed, but definitely an exciting role for Liam Neeson.

Movie Recommendation - The Last Templar

Based on the novel by Raymond Khoury, this made for TV movie is surprisingly good. If you liked National Treasure, Indiana Jones, The Da Vinci Code and Tomb Raider give this one a try. Mira Sorvino plays a Milano Blahnik loving archaeologist who is determined to discover the truth behind the theft of an ancient Templar decoder. With the help (and some hindrance) of an FBI agent played by Scott Foley, the pair ends up on the far side of the globe with a bigger secret than they bargained for. I was overwhelmingly impressed that Mira Sorvino portrayed such a brainy beauty. Keep in mind that this was made for TV (it is a whopping 170 minutes long) and enjoy the ride!
